Thank you for shopping with SDPhotography. Every print is made to order specifically for you through our professional print partner, WHCC (White House Custom Colour). Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

All Sales Are Final (US & Non-EU Customers)

Because every print is produced on demand specifically for you, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for the following reasons:

  • Ordering the wrong size
  • Ordering the wrong format (metal, canvas, or paper)
  • Change of mind after the order has been placed
  • The print not matching your expectations of color based on your screen settings

Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase. If you have any questions about sizing, formats, or which print is right for your space, please contact us before ordering and we'll be happy to help.

EU & UK Customers — Your Legal Rights

If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have additional rights under EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Right of Withdrawal

EU and UK customers generally have the right to cancel an order within 14 days of receiving it (the "cooling-off period") without giving a reason. However, under Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. Because all SDPhotography prints are produced on demand specifically to your chosen size, format, and finish, they are considered personalised goods and are therefore exempt from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal.

What This Means For You

  • Custom-sized prints — not eligible for withdrawal
  • Standard sized prints (8x10, 8x12, 11x14, etc.) — may be eligible for withdrawal if the item has not yet entered production. Please contact us within 14 days of placing your order
  • If you are unsure whether your order qualifies, please contact us and we will clarify before you place your order

Defective or Non-Conforming Goods

Regardless of the above, EU and UK customers are entitled to a remedy if goods are defective, not as described, or not fit for purpose under the EU Sale of Goods Directive (2019/771/EU). If your print arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. Please contact us within 30 days of receipt.

Quality Guarantee (All Customers)

We stand behind every print we ship. If your order arrives with any of the following issues, we will reship the same print at no cost to you until you are completely satisfied:

  • A printing defect or error
  • Damage caused during transit
  • The wrong item was shipped
  • Missing items from your order

To report a quality issue, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order (30 days for EU/UK customers) with your order number, a clear photo of the issue, and a brief description of the problem.

Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund, provided printing has not yet begun. Please contact us immediately if you need to cancel.

EU and UK customers may request cancellation within 14 days of placing an order if the item has not yet entered production. Once printing has begun, cancellation may not be possible due to the personalised nature of the goods.

Refunds

Refunds are issued in the following circumstances:

  • A verified printing defect or quality issue that cannot be resolved through reshipment
  • An order cancelled within 24 hours of purchase before printing has begun
  • An item lost in transit that cannot be reshipped
  • EU/UK customers with a valid withdrawal request on eligible non-personalised orders

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days. EU and UK customers will receive refunds within 14 days of an approved return in accordance with applicable law.

Lost or Stolen Packages

SDPhotography is not responsible for packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery. If your tracking shows delivered but you have not received your order, please check with neighbors and your local post office first. If the package cannot be located, contact us and we will do our best to assist.

International Orders & Customs

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by their country. EU customers please note: orders shipped to the EU may be subject to VAT and import duties depending on order value and your country's regulations.
